A800P and Gigabyte H77-D3H buffer re-sync

7 years 2 months ago #11373 by ksyblast
Hi!
I have continuous re-sync messages with A800P and Gigabyte motherboard H77-D3H. There is also crazy persistent noise on every call. I have heard that maybe hardware compatibility can be an issue. Can anybody help?

I have already tried acpi=off and it didnt' help. But I finally got it working by disabling C1E and C3/C6 in BIOS.

Quick remark - CPU EIST should be also disabled to avoid problems with CLIP and messages like:
callerid.c: Caller*ID failed checksum
