How to connect (wire) B100P to the ISDN line?

13 years 11 months ago #5554 by acim
Hello everyone,

I've tried searching this forum and documentation and Web, but I couldn't find an answer hot to wire B100P to the ISDN line.

I have ISDN BRI and NT box called Intracom netMod+ .

Do I connect it straight to ISDN twisted pair or to the ISDN NT box (on the picture above)?

How to make the cable? Which wire positions are important?

I can't find pin scheme for this card, so I don't know how to make the cable.

Please help :(

I found some pin specification here .

But, I still don't know do I connect to NT Box Intracom netMod+? It looks like that because of 4 wires, but then do I set NT or TE mode on the card?

Sorry for these newbie questions :)

I found something more here . It seems to me I need to use TE mode and connect to port S0 to the NT box. And this seems to be the wiring scheme:

Please confirm this is correct.

One even better wiring scheme:

Hello,
The ISDN BRI requires an RJ-45 straight through cable. And the pins should be like as your description of the third post above. Pins 1,2,7 and 8 are not used.

I made cable like you can see on the network tester here:

and followed these instructions . But, I always get link down message. Here is my Intracom netMod box with switches and connections:

I've tried many jumper combination with no success.

My B100P card jumpers are SW1 to the right (TE) and I've tried SW2 both opened and closed, but it didn't help.

Here are information from Asterisk console:
