OpenVox has announced today that single port E1/T1 cards DE115P & DE115E with hardware echo cancellation module are released. It fulfils OpenVox product line of PRI cards with hardware echo cancellation modules from single to quad port.
The DE115E/DE115P is a new version of single T1/E1 card that has hardware echo cancellation on board. The EC100 echo cancellation is an Octasic DSP-based module. The EC100 provides a certified carrier-grade algorithm that has been labeled a benchmark for echo cancellation for OpenVox.
With the improved I/O speed, the card reduces CPU usage and increased card density per server. DE115E/DE115P is fully compatible with Asterisk applications. The open source driver supports an API interface for custom application development.
DE115E/DE115P supports industry standard telephony and data protocols, including Primary Rate ISDN (both N. American and Standard Euro) protocol families for voice, PPP, Cisco, HDLC, and Frame Relay data modes. Both line-side and trunk-side interfaces are supported.
