I am having a problem with a system using a A1200P card with 9 FXO ports. When you reboot the server or restart DAHDI you first need to receive a call on each port before you can send calls out. If you do not do that then you get a fast busy from the port. We are using the latest DAHDI 2.3.0.1 and Asterisk 1.6.2.10 with the opvxa1200 patch. We need to fix this quickly.
The server is an HP Proliant ML360G2. We also have a problem where incoming calls have a lot of noise. The noise is only heard by the internal phons and not by the external users. We can get rid of the noise by restarting DAHDI but it will coma back after a few days. Every time we have to restart DAHDI or the server we have the problem above so out customer is complaining that the card does not work. Please advise how we can fix this problem.
Moving from ks to ls fixed the problem for sending calls after a restart. I am still having problems that after a few days the user has a very loud noise on their calls. The noise is only heard by the internal phones and not by the external caller. A restart of the server usually fixes the problem but only for a few days. What could be causing this problem?
Hi,
Please confirm that enable the echocancel=yes in /etc/asterisk/chan-dahdi/conf. If the option was enabled, please take a record with noise and to me, or you can send ssh to me by Email : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
