Trouble with adding DAHDI extension to FREEPBX A800E

Please forgive me as I a newbie at this, but I have setup a PBX before using all SIP accounts. However this venture into DAHDi is really getting to me:([align=center].[/align]

I have installed a new PIAF server as follows:
Kernel: 2.6.32-358.2.1.el6.i686 (SMP) i686
Distro : CentOS 6.3
Asterisk (Ver. 11.3.0)
FreePBX 2.11.0
DAHDI 2.6.1

Channel map:

Channel 01: FXO Kewlstart (Default) (Echo Canceler: mg2) (Slaves: 01)
Channel 05: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Echo Canceler: mg2) (Slaves: 05)

2 channels to configure.

Setting echocan for channel 1 to mg2
Setting echocan for channel 5 to mg2


I can recieve calls on channel 5 that route to a sip extension, however I get no dial tone on channel 1 and a SIP dial dial to channel 1 ext. gives me busy signal.

Please help, I am not sure what more information I need to have which files etc.
