Asterisk receive wrong string

Hello, I have following problem:

I have two A800P cards installed. On one card I have 6 FXO's and 2 FXS and on second I have 1 FXO and 4 FXS. I have two analog telephones installed (Panasonic models). When we dial for example: 9015304478, log says that Asterisk receive wrong string: 90530444778 ?! And hence, Asterisk try to dial out wrong number?

Is there something that we missed? We have asterisk boxes on few places and after tuning everything works fine. What can cause such problem?

you mean you dial 9015304478, but asterisk got this:90530444778? if so, the asterisk missed dtmf, you have to try check relaxdtmf=yes in zapata.conf, have you tried to use other analog phone to try that.

Yes correct. We have three different analog phones and same for everybody on different FXS ports. I will try to set relaxdtmf.

It works. Thank you very much. Could you explain to us in short what does it mean relaxdtmf and why it happens in the first place? We have three installations before and we haven't that problem till now.
