Ubuntu hardy and Jaunty not work with B800P

14 years 4 months ago #4348 by pemer
Hi,

i tested the Card B800P with following Kernels:
Ubuntu hardy
2.6.23-1
2.6.24-19-server
Ubuntu Jaunty:
2.6.28-17-server

with asterisk 1.6.0.19

with this mISDN Versions:
mISDN 1.1.9.2 with B800P patch from openvox
mISDN 1.1.9 from Openvox
mISDN 1.2.0 from lcr
from http://www.linux-call-router.de/download/lcr-1.5/mISDN_20090602.tar.gz
but also tested with chan_lcr.

the outgoing channels is:
te with ptmp

the result is:
The card was found in asterisk and the led lights are blicking.
If i am restarting Asterisk the light from the connected port are not blicking and glare, for 2 or 3 secunds.
If i am try to ring out with a ptmp channel, the asterisk say:

Executing [XXXXXX@dial_extern:1] Dial("SIP/00-08308648", "mISDN/g:isdn-extern/XXXXXXXX/TWr") in new stack
-- Called g:isdn-extern/01711628529/TWr
P[ 1] empty_chan_in_stack: cannot empty channel 255
== Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/0/1)
-- Auto fallthrough, channel 'SIP/00-08308648' status is 'CHANUNAVAIL'

if i am type in the console from asterisk :
misdn show stacks
is every port down.
The lights on every port are blicking.

Did you know the problem?
Have you got a dissolution for this problem?

And very good question:
I witch documentation is a picture oder a declaration from the jumper settings?

regards Patrick

Hello,
Please check your dial plan settings first, make sure of them are correct. Moreover, please refer this link, it's the manual of OpenVoxB800P,you can get the LEDs status from it. http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/manuals/eng/B800P_User_Manual_mISDN.pdf.
Any question please contact me! Or send your SSH and isdn line number to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .I will help you as soon as possible!

Best Regards!

hello:
please make sure the ports are up, run command: misdn show stacks, you will see the result. if down, you would not make calls. you also need to check the physical connection, make sure the cable is well connected.

Dear Joe.Yung,

the dialplan is well! This is not the f$&!#&$ problem.
I am also build in the dialplan the dialplan application misdn_check_l2l1.
But it didn't helbed.

I verify the connection and the dialplan and the kernel module with a avm-pci-card and a isdn card with chipset from the hfcpci.
This card worked fine, with this line.

Dear James,

the command misdn show stacks, was very funny.
If i am restarted asterisk, the command results following, and the port witch are connected are lihgting:

Port 1 Type TE Prot. PTMP L2Link DOWN L1Link:UP Blocked:0 Debug:0

after 2 secounds the command results following and the led are blinking:

Port 1 Type TE Prot. PTMP L2Link DOWN L1Link:DOWN Blocked:0 Debug:0

if i am do a call in the two secounds after restart, the result was written before.

best regards

Patrick

the module from misdn v2 for all this listed kernel are not working with lcr.
I think i tested all possible situation with this asterisk channel driver and this kernel module.

the result was:
the lcr stack says the card is ready, but nothing on the card is blinking.
if start asterisk also nothing blinking.
