b100p trixbox 2.8 issues

13 years 5 months ago #6376 by ilias74
I'm sorry to say that I continue having problems on trixbox 2.8.0.3 with asterisk 1.6.10 and mISDN 1.1.2.7_3
What I get in dmesg is:
MDL_ERROR|REQ (tei_l2)

and occasionally

Nov 15 14:41:17 trixbox1 kernel: l2mgr: addr:40000102 prim 23082 N
Nov 15 14:41:18 trixbox1 kernel: l2mgr: addr:40000102 prim 23082 C
Nov 15 14:41:18 trixbox1 kernel: l2mgr: addr:40000102 prim 23082 C

Today's output instead:
trixbox1 kernel: l2 D-channel frame error N

I am really frustrated as my client cannot have a stable system for 5 months now. He has to reboot every 3-4 hrs.

Any clue?

Thanks

Thanks for your answer. But, do you mean not to use Trixbox or changing the hardware?

Hi,
Please install Centos instead of trixbox to have a try.

Regards!

Hello,
well to be honest, trixbox is CentOS but I guess asterisk etc. have been compiled in strange ways.
So you suggest a fresh CentOS installation, right?
Is there a preference for the b100p card? I mean asterisk 1.4, 1.6 or 1.8? And mISDN version?
What would be the best combination for stability?
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, I mean fresh CentOS installation.
You can choise the combination for stability:
asterisk-1.4.26.1
mISDN-1_1_9.1
mISDNuser-1_1_9.1
