B100P under Trixbox 2.8

13 years 2 months ago #6653 by callmeknud
Hello,

i tried installing the B100P under Trixbox 2.8. However i didn't manage to get it working.

msdnportinfo result:
Port 1: TE-mode BRI S/T interface line (for phone lines)
-> Protocol: DSS1 (Euro ISDN)
-> childcnt: 2
misdn-init scan result:
[OK] found the following devices:
card=1,hfcpci

rc.local:
touch /var/lock/subsys/local
/usr/sbin/misdn-init start
/usr/sbin/amportal start
chmod 755 /usr/local/sbin/motd.sh && /usr/local/sbin/motd.sh > /etc/issue

Running "misdn show stacks" in Asterisk CLI results in Command not found.

The Asterisk Log also lists following error:

[Feb 22 10:28:42] WARNING[2988] loader.c: Error loading module 'chan_misdn.so':/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_misdn.so: undefined symbol:__ast_string_field_index_build

[font="][Feb22 10:28:42] WARNING[2988] loader.c: Module 'chan_misdn.so' could not beloaded.

thanks in advance!

1.Individually add these symbolic links:
ln -s /usr/lib/libisdnnet.so /usr/lib/libisdnnet.so.0
ln -s /usr/lib/libmISDN.so /usr/lib/libmISDN.so.0
ln -s /usr/lib/libsuppserv.so /usr/lib/libsuppserv.so.0

2.Edit rc.local script to start mISDN:
vi /etc/rc.d/rc.local
add the command:
/usr/sbin/mISDN start
before the line:
/usr/sbin/amportal start

3.Save and reboot your trixbox to check everything is working as expected.
