BE200P in NT mode. tick tack sound

11 years 9 months ago #8199 by altoas
Hi,We are using BE200P card with asterisk 1.8 and DAHDI.

both ports are in NT mode, connected to ISDN PBX ERICSSON

DAHDI is from your site, latest version.

The first error is:

And the major problem by now is that when call is in progress we hear a sound like a clock is ticking every second and it is annoying.

here is system.conf

# Span 1: B4/0/1 "B4XXP (PCI) Card 0 Span 1" (MASTER) AMI/CCS span=1,0,0,ccs,ami# termtype: ntbchan=1-2hardhdlc=3

What can we do to stop the annoying sound?

I cannot provide SSH, the system is behind firewalls in military org.
I have skype and email or here for additional info.

hi,
please confirm the card don't have interrupt sharing then start the irqbalance service
run "dahdi_genconf" command to generate configuration again to try
you can add my skype and contact me when you are online, i will help you to check it

dahdi_genconf sets the clock source as local (Master) but the remote side is currently the master, so I manually correct it to be:

# Autogenerated by /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf on Tue Jul 10 11:30:16 2012
# If you edit this file and execute /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf again,

span=2,2,0,ccs,ami
# termtype: nt
bchan=4-5
hardhdlc=6

# Global data

loadzone = bg
defaultzone = bg

and in also dahdi_channels.conf signalling must be auto, bri_net or bri_net_ptmp doesn't work.
