How to install B400P with A400P in one server

16 years 5 months ago #486 by yidiyuehan
I have successfully installed B400P using Bristuff in asterisk server and it works fine.
Now I want to add one more A400p card as I need to connect some Analog fax machine into this server.

However whenever I plug in the A400p card and restart the server I get the error either cannot find channel 1 or cannot find span 1.

Any one has a manual for two cards installed into one server?

hello, yidiyuehan:
i think it can be done. have you add A400p conf files in zaptel and zapata conf? make sure load the wctdm. please post the error messages to forum.
Regards!

hello, i think your asterisk fail loading because of your zapata_additional.conf. do you have any info in zapata_additional.conf? maybe there are some spelling errors or syntax errors in your zapata_additional.conf. please check that.
Regards!

I tried to remove one of the card and modify the zaptel.conf and zapata.conf and it works with either of the cards.

The error only happens with boths cards installed in one server. I also tried to delete file zapata_additional.conf and remove the line #include zapata_additional.conf in zapata.conf.

I think there maybe some tricks if both cards really can be installed into one server. I may try to install B400p using Misdn driver and try again.

For your information below is the case with A400p card enabled only and it works without changing anything else:

[root@PT7 asterisk]# ztcfg -vvv
