Setting up D110P for the first time

I recently picked up an Openvox D110P single PRI card, but I do not have much experience setting up PRIs. Right now the card is installed ( I am using Asterisk 1.4/DAHDI/OSLEC ) but the PRI is not plugged in yet. I have two questions. (1) I see this:

[Nov 2 17:25:54] WARNING[4869]: chan_dahdi.c:2796 pri_find_dchan: No D-channels available! Using Primary channel 24 as D-channel anyway!

Is this a real problem or will it go away once the PRI is plugged in?

(2) What is the timing cable for? I hate to sound stupid.

The warning will be away after Plug the line.
Timing cable is used to connect PRI card and Analog card.
