D110P PRI E1 card on Trixbox 2.8 and Dell T105 RED ALARM

14 years 6 months ago #3847 by epatey
My modem wants this configuration:

Pin Description
1 not connected
2 not connected
3 RX +
4 TX +
5 TX -
6 RX -
7 not connected
8 not connected

However, I built a loopback cable (connects 1 to 4 and 2 to 5) and I still get a red alarm. Could this mean it is a hardware defect?

For clarity, I'm posting my interrupts status. The card appears to be happy on its own interrupt:

Okay. Thanks to the great support by Open Vox, I'm making progress. I made a custom cable and followed as described and now there is no alarm. My only problem now is this:

chan_dahdi.c:11722 pri_dchannel: PRI Error on span 0: We think we're the network, but they think they're the network, too.

this goes back and forth when i change from pri_cpe to pri_net, so I believe I might have the cable in a loopback when it wants a straight through connection.

Well cable is correct and I'm still getting these errors. I'm setup as follows:

;
; DAHDI telephony
;
; Configuration file

;[trunkgroups]

[channels]
context=from-zaptel
switchtype=euroisdn
pridialplan=national
usecallerid=yes
hidecallerid=no
callwaiting=yes
callwaitingcallerid=yes
threewaycalling=yes
transfer=yes
cancallforward=yes
echocancel=yes
rxgain=0.0
txgain=0.0
group=1
callgroup=1
pickupgroup=1
immediate=no
callprogress=no
callerid=asreceived
group=1
signalling=pri_cpe
channel => 1-15,17-31

;Include setup-pstn configs
#include dahdi-channels.conf

;Include PBXconfig configs
#include chan_dahdi_additional.conf

and my system.conf is as follows:

# Span 1: WCT1/0 "Digium Wildcard TE110P T1/E1 Card 0" (MASTER)
span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=1-15,17-31
dchan=16
echocanceller=mg2,1-15,17-31

# Global data

loadzone = es
defaultzone = es

Any ideas?
