Port based failover on FD142 board possible?

10 years 2 months ago #9400 by vma
Hello,I am planning to purchase the FD142 board and I would like to know: is it possible to make a failover on a link by link basis?
I have 4 E1 links from my telco and 2 servers with 4 ports. Each server is master for 2 links and slave for the 2 others.
So in case of failover, I just want the 2 links for which the failed server is the master to be switched without touching to the 2 other links. Ideally, I would like to tell to the board which IN port to connect to which OUT port. Is this possible with the FD142?

Also, what is the default ports connection schema when there the board is not powered on or when the usb power fails?
Thank you in advance.

The connections is like this:
Telcom
A/B
D
Primary Server(CPE)
|_____C______Backup Server(CPE)
USB is connected to Primary server, and the driver is installed on it, too.
Only everything is working fine on Primary server, A/B
D connection works;
If Primary server down or device no power, A/B---C connection works.
You need to read the manual:
