Hello,
I am planning to buy couple of GW1600 devices, but before that I would like to know is it possible to connect them later with SIM bank (and SIM server) of other manufactures on the market, as OpenVox doesn't have its own SIM bank?
Has anyone tried that?
We are looking for GSM Gateway with VOIP and SMS sending/receiving/delivery reports functionality.
Based on that we have started to review the functionalities of VS_GW1600.
Reading the GSM Gateway VS-GW1600 manuals we could not answer whether the gateway could request SMS delivery reports from the Mobile Provider when SMSes are sent.
I saw how to send/receive SMSes but I could not find any option for SMS delivery reports from the carrier.
Basically, I know that this could be done by AT commands in the header of the sms.
However, is it possible to be done by the SMS API provided from OpenVox or any other way ?
Moreover, we were not able to find whether the GSM modems inside the Gateway are accessible by telnet or could be controlled by AT commands.
Any information about these questions will be kindly appreciated.

Hi guys!
I have similar question as dsaykov had.
Could you advise me please, whether it's possible to get delivery receipts and what API openvox provides for bulk sms sending?
Another my question is, is there any chance to send MMS using openvox hardware?
Yes,you can get the SMS send report, now the gateway use the AMI/AJAM(Asterisk Manager Interface),and http interface to deal with the SMS.Of course,as a most direct way ,you can use our WEB interface to deal with the SMS also.
About more details,we can discuss it via Skype.
