In my current Grandstream GSM gateway I have 4 GSM cards. Each card is a client to my Asterisk PBX server and they register using different sip accounts (9001, 9002, 9003, 9004).
When a call enters GSM card 1, the GSM gateway sends the call to the Asterisk PBX server. The server has rules that redirect calls to specific internal Sip extensions
- Calls from GSM card 1 goes to Sip 501 belonging to John
- Calls from GSM card 2 goes to Sip 502 belonging to Peter.
When John wants to make an outbound call using a specific GSM card, I have a rule in Asterix PBX server that says:
1+xxxxxxxxx goes to GSM card 1
2+xxxxxxxxx goes to GSM card 2
etc..
etc..
I now have an OpenVOX VS_USB-1020 "VoxStack_Series_Gateway", with 8 GSM cards.
Sure, It will work.
For incoming calls , You can build a incoming and outgoing rules such like this
Thank you.
But for now, I have SIP phones registered directly on the Gateway, and I have problems making outbound calls. They all fail. Can you help? I can receive calls but not make them.
