Caller ID Setting

14 years 2 weeks ago #5448 by Joe.Yung
Hello,
The alternatives of caller ID signalling are: bell, v23, dtmf , smdi.
And the singals of starting caller ID are: ring, polarity, polarity_IN(for India)

If you are not sure which one should be selected, you have to ask your service provider to confirm it firstly.

Hello,

Here is the Avaya PABX Engineer's info :
1. Caller ID can be set DTMF or FSK at Analog extension, at IP Phone
the default is FSK but can be set DTMF too, it can configure at each IP extension
2. Polarity reversal is NO for IP Telephone, it can be set at Analog,
depend on ICAT

Hello,
what about the starting signal of Caller ID :ring.?
If you don't have polarity reversal feature, the parameter of cidstart won't take effect.
Try to set its value to ring.

Hello,

Today My Ericsson Vendor already activate the Caller ID, and it is appear at analog phone, He said the configuration is DTMF and POLARITY. Incoming and Outgoing Call using GSM line.

I already try this configuration, but the CID is not appear yet:
Caller signaling = dtmf, bell, v23, smdi
CID start=polarity, ring, polarity_IN
