dahdi_test result is normal (worst result 99.98%)

Interrupts look good to me, using APIC.

Have now updated the UEFI firmware for this server and still get the same HDLC errors on loopback testing.

Afraid I can not exchange cards between servers, the one where it is working OK is a live production server.

Would you have any idea why there might be a hardware compatibility issue with the IBM x3650 M2 servers? Is there anything further we could do to mitigate these effects?

another option you can try is change noburst param when load wct4xxp driver
try noburst=0 or noburst=1 and see if there have improvement.
but I am sure change to D430P can solve the issue.

Set this parameter when loading wct4xxp driver.
e.g. modprobe wct4xxp noburst=0
You can try noburst=0 or noburst=1.

I tried both values. After repeated testing neither made any difference to the number of HDLC errors we received, compared to having no setting on the modprobe at all.
