I tried using a different Distro
CentOS 5.3
Asterisk 1.8.3.3
Dahdi-linux-complete 2.5.0.1
drivers seems to be woking.
'Dahdi' command is already showing on asterisk CLI
as well as 'gsm' command on asterisk CLI
'dahdi show channels' do not give any output
I can't seem to have the FXS working. It do not give a dial tone.
plugging a PSTN on FXO gives no output on asterisk CLI (verbose set to 9)
hi,
You should insert "#include dahdi-channels.conf" to end of file /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf to solve the problem that the system didn't show channels on the console. After that, remember to "reload " .
Stop Asterisk first, and then remove both driver modules opvxg4xx and wctdm by
modprobe -r opvxg4xx
modprobe -r wctdm
now, modprobe wctdm->modprobe opvxg4xx debug=8 ->dahdi_genconf->dahdi_cfg -vvv
Starting Asterisk by `asterisk -vvvcg`, type `dahdi show channels` and `gsm show spans` to check their channels and status.
