outbound call to POTS hangup after 5 rings

Hello all,I have been using trixbox 2.6.1 with Openvox A1200 P 4FXO card. My problem is whenever I dial out to any POTS line it hangup after 5 rings. I have to re-dial again and again until the other party pickup the calls. whereas in outbound calls to mobiles phone it works well. Is there any settings in asterisk so that I can change to make outbound call ring longer?

please check this:
Dial(type/identifier,timeout,options)
in your trixbox, you may check the ring time. by default, it should be 90 by freepbx.

Where is that Ring time located in trixbox. I couldnot find in trixbox setting page.

I think you can try this:
1) Log into the web GUI
2) Select "System Administration"
3) Select "Config Edit"
4) Click "extensions_additional.conf"
5) Under "[globals]" change "RINGTIMER=xxxx" to suit the time you want it to ring

I edited the extension_additional.conf from web gui and change the Ring Timer from 15 to 60. But still 4 rings goes and busy tone.

Hi bishal:
After you change it ,you must ran the cmmand "reload" in the CLI console.
If it still has issue ,you can change it to a higher number.
