Clicks when disk is accessed...

I've been able to get my asterisk system running pretty well with the A800P card. I've ensured that I have the card on its own interrupt, I've changed the latency_timer to 128 on the card and every other device to 32 or 0. I've tuned the echocanceller with fxotune, which really helped alot. About the only issue I have now is when the hard disks are accessed I get a slight amount of clicking on the phones along with the usual buffer resync issues.

Any ideas how to kill the clicking caused by the disk access?

The hardware is an AMD Athlon 3000+ CPU with a VIA K8T800 chipset based MSI K8T Neo motherboard. I have X disabled as well. The OS is Fedora 12, with the latest patches. dahdi is 2.3.0.1,

Did you get buffer sync missed error in dmesg? How many times?

It will happen 2 or 3 times when the click happens. If there is no click, the buffer resync does not occur

buffer re-sync occur from 0 to 2
buffer re-sync occur from 2 to 3
buffer re-sync occur from 3 to 0

Can this buffer be made bigger in software?

Hi,
Probably it's because of the compatibility between A800P and your CPU & motherboard. Would you please change another one to have a try?
