dahdi 2.6.0 problem with A400P +4fxs

12 years 2 months ago #7759 by geaper
Hi, I am a new asterisk learner and for a while I'm studying asterisk with the book "Asterisk, The definitive guide, third edition"

And I have problems on loading my fxs card (Openvox A400P with 4 fxs modules)

I have configured /etc/dahdi/modules and /etc/dahdi/system.conf and all ports are ok and dahdi started perfectly. But whenever I loaded the /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf , Asterisk has loses connection to dahdi. and I can not load chan_dahdi.so manually via asterisk_cli.

My configuration is:
Ubuntu server 10.04.03
Asterisk 1.8
Dahdi 2.6.0

and I'm trying to setup my fxs card as explained here:
http://www.asteriskdocs.org/en/3 ... viceConfig_id164614

/etc/dahdi/modules
# Contains the list of modules to be loaded / unloaded by /etc/init.d/dahdi.

# would like to add any module parameters.

Did you add "#include dahdi-channels.conf in the end of file 'chan_dahdi.conf'?
Refer the info above, chan_dahdi.so has been loaded successfully.
Here is a manual for you:
http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/ ... HDI_User_Manual.pdf
After installed the DAHDI driver, only thing you need to do is excute such commands:
#modprobe wctdm
#dahdi_genconf
#dahdi_cfg -vvv
And modify chan_dahdi.conf like this:
[trunkgroups]

[channels]
context=from-pstn
signalling=fxs_ks
rxwink=300 ; Atlas seems to use long (250ms) winks
usecallerid=yes
hidecallerid=no
callwaiting=yes
usecallingpres=yes
callwaitingcallerid=yes
threewaycalling=yes
transfer=yes
canpark=yes
cancallforward=yes
callreturn=yes
echocancel=yes
echocancelwhenbridged=no
faxdetect=incoming
echotraining=800
rxgain=0.0
txgain=0.0
callgroup=1
pickupgroup=1

;Uncomment these lines if you have problems with the disconection of your analog lines
busydetect=yes
busycount=3

mmediate=no

#include dahdi-channels.conf
Good luck!
