hello, jsalinasf:
usually, if the card does not work, please check the few things:
1) one is that make sure the system can find a card, use lspci -vvvvv, can see the card info.
2) second, may be the zaptel.conf and zapata.conf are not correct. do a double tasks, after genzaptelconf -d command, please check the zaptel.conf again. sometimes, the zaptelconf generated by that command is not reliable.
3) run ztcfg -vvvv and dmesg, if all info is ok, you still can not make calls, please check extensions.conf and zapata.conf, make sure the info in two files are matched.
4) make sure zapata can be load, in asterisk console: help command will show zap info if your zapata.conf is ok and also show your modules: zap show channels.
regarding Elastix, i am not very sure why the some resource in Elastix website can not access. anyway, keep doing it and keep in touch with us.
Regards!

hello, Sir:
according the post, i think your zaptel.conf has nothing in side. please check it again. it should be added in after running: genzaptelconf -d, but you have no lucky. let's say we have 2 A1200P, the FXO and FXS should be like this:
# span 1: OPVXA1200/0 "OpenVox A1200P Board 1"
fxsks=1
fxsks=2
fxsks=3
fxsks=4
fxoks=5
fxoks=6
fxoks=7
fxoks=8
fxoks=9
fxoks=10
fxoks=11
fxoks=12
# Span 2: OPVXA1200/0 "OpenVox A1200P Board 2"
fxoks=13
fxoks=14
fxoks=15
fxoks=16
fxoks=17
fxoks=18
fxoks=19
fxoks=20
fxoks=21
fxoks=22
fxoks=23
fxoks=24

the simple way is that you copy the zaptel.conf generated by trixbox and post it into /etc/zaptel.conf
once again, please check zaptel.conf first when running ztcfg --- and zapata.conf when running asterisk -vvvvvvvgc.
Good luck!
