Has anyone had any experience using the FXS modules on loops over a mile long?
I have a customer interested in an Asterisk PBX, and one of the extension phones is roughly three miles (4.8 kilometers) from the location proposed for the Asterisk PBX.
At this time, the extension runs from an FXS card in a Carrier Access TM channel bank without problem and I assume it will work okay with the OpenVox FXS module, but hoped to learn of others have successfully used it with loop lengths of several miles.
