Echo issues

12 years 3 months ago #7717 by fiesch
Hi all I havea issue with a de210e

its connected to a German E1, echo cancellation in
Asterisk is enabled, dmesg shows echo cancellation hardware servicing two spans

On some calls I get echo on the line..
Are there some general troubleshooting steps I can take before wildly trying orxut TX and RX ?

I just verified again that echo cancellation is turned on using dahdi show channel, set to 128 taps and on

Echo on lines is rather rare and not always reproducible

Yes, make sure the echo cancellation module is working (peform dahdi show channels x on the console ) while you found there was echo.
