I am trying to install a D110P in a HP Proliant DL360 G3 server. Without the card the server boots fine. When I install the card the machine hangs while loading the SCSI driver. I know the card is ok because I put it in a PC and it works great. I then moved the card to a Dell PowerEdge 1750 and get the same issue as the HP; it hangs when loading the SCSI driver.
I did all my troubleshooting on the HP because that machine has a little more horse power. Disabled everything that takes an IRQ and is not necessary for my application such as USB and serial port. I moved IRQ's all around hoping to hit the magical combination, but no joy yet.
What is realy irritating is I have a D110P working in production on an identical HP Proliant DL360 if I take that card out of the production machine and put it in either of these machines, it hangs at the scsi load.
I should also mention I updated the BIOS on the HP to the latest release while trying to get this working.
