We have the above mentioned GSM Gateway VS-GW1202 and we use it for rerouting calls and SMS. Everything works perfect.
We now need the MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) going also through. It didn't work. The system works like thas at Swisscom Switzerland: if the provider recognizes that the handset doesn't have the MMS function, then a regular SMS is sent with a code and an internetlink where the MMS can be watched throug the internet.
The problem now is, that for some reason the provider does not recognize, that the VS-GW1202 is without the MMS function and it sends SMS with rubish every 10 seconds until the SIM-card (the one in the gateway) is putted into a Handset, then it send s the mentioned regular SMS with the code and the URL link
Question: How can I fix this? Any idea?
