the chan_extra.so is on the directory /usr/lib/asterisk/modules

but on asterisk's CLI, when you do

module reload (and hit TAB key)

the chan_extra is not there. fyi

I removed the A400P then did a fresh CentOs install but I can not have the G400p working. I add

preload => chan_extra.so , unter /etc/asterisk/modules.conf

but i still have the errors.

After a bit of trial and error. I was able to have it working. I did a fresh install of CentOs and tried using asterisk 1.8.3.1 (I was using version 1.8.4.3 originally ). And it worked flawlessly. Seems that cha_extra is not that compatible with recent versions of asterisk and hoping it would be fixed on future release. Cheers. Thanks for the head start support.
